Yeah Tots. And if you could resort to a simple picture or something it would be much appreciated. Those movie clip avatars fukcs up my scrolling and TVisa isn't exactly known for it's speed.

If you hit the Escape key, the animations will stop.

Thanks JD, that's a bit better. But the scrolling is still jittery when totsters full length feature film avatars come into view.

Hi All,

Completely off topic but this morning I could not sleep so as an exercise into slicing I changed

this:

I used Photoshop to split the oiginal 1.85meg picture into 60 individual jpgs ranging from 16 to 46k.

It has now changed from loading being like hot tar running down a wall to being instant!

My apologies to everyone.

A simple tutorial on how to make animated gifs from movie clips. Nice thing is the tools they recommend are free. Also can apply the information to other methods.

The fundamentals are straight forward. Just think of a series of still images (frames) each a little different from the previous. Stitch them together with the software so they sequence and you have animation.
