chang beer
Hi. Hope I'm doing this correct. For the second time I'm leaving for a side trip to Singapore and other south east asian countries before my 3 months reporting. I left the first time after being in Thailand for 2 months and again I'm leaving after 2 months of being here. I was told that I do not have to report at the immigration of my current address, if not living here for 3 months. Should I go to immigration anyway? thanx Chang beer
ubonjoe
You do not have to make a report of staying longer than 90 days in the country if you are not here that long. It is not truly a address report but is often called that. There is no need to make a report.
Suradit69
The report is for someone who has been in the country for 90 uninterrupted days. If you are in the country for less than 90 continuous days, there's no need to report. Just be sure you are re-entering Thailand before the expiration date printed on the visa sticker (not the permission to stay stamp given you by immigrations). Once the visa expires, you may still have a valid permission to stay in the country, but will need a re-entry permit to maintain the permission to stay if you plan to exit and re-enter.
