November 16, 201411 yr Hello! I'll be taking the CELTA certificate from IH Bangkok in a few months and am wondering if anyone else took the same thing - and if so, what their experience was like in terms of how much free time they had. I don't expect to be partying 24/7 (nor do I want to), but it would be nice to know that I'll have to actually explore Bangkok and have a bit of fun. I've never been to Thailand before so it would be a shame if the first month I spend there was primarily indoors. So - can I expect to be outside getting a tan or inside getting pale? Thanks! March 1, 201511 yr You will get very little free time. It is a highly intensive full time course with lots of preparation work required. On my course two people failed. Both 'regular' teachers.
