Just got my passport back from my previous employer and instead of the Non-B that they said they were getting, in fact they just got me a 30 day extension. So I now have 4 days before I have to leave the country -

Question, Do you think I will have any problems hopping over to Cambodia for another Visa exempt entry ? (passport has 2 visa exempt entries, 1 for 3 days and this one for 30 + 30 extension)

Thanks

Are you sure it is an extension? Or does the stamp say that your extension application is under consideration with a report back date 30 days from when it was done?

Were they going to get you a non immigrant visa from a visa exempt entry or an extension of a non-b visa you had already?

If you have to leave the country it would be best to get a non-b visa.

Deffo a 30 day extension (looks the same as my last extension).

They said the non-B would have been from my visa exempt entry

Cant get a new Non-B as am now unemployed :-)

It depends upon whether your exempt entries were by air or land.

Were your previous exempt entries back to back. I see one was only for 3 days so they may not count that one.

ok, was on an extension of stay for employment until 1 july, then went to Vietnam, (visa exempt entry to Thailand 3 to 5 Sept). Then back to Thailand on visa exempt on 26 Sep and that extended to 24 Nov.

Hope that helps (personally I think I am not a back to back runner, just need one this time to get sorted).

You should not have a problem getting another entry at the border.

You will only get a 15 day entry unless you are from a G7 country.
