Just a note indicating differences (to me) from Udorn Thani Immi last week. Asked for documents same as listed.

1 Now need to go back in one month to receive the actual extension. My passport was stamped with "holder is required to return to this office on"

2 Reentry stamp must be requested on or later than second visit. May cause scheduling difficulties for people wanting to leave in this one month window ???

3 I was phoned up and asked to return to the office by head of immi. He had noticed that my bank letter had an incorrect date. Fair cop. He asked us to go and get it changed (bank is 35 miles ). He took the opportunity to change the "to" line as flagged by another members post. Also he wanted a note of the account balances for the last three months typed on the letter.

As I said these are new to me. Other members can heed the parts that are new to them and ignore the rest!

PS Merry Christmas

There have been reports of people to go back for their final stamp before because they did not have an officer of the required rank to approve the extension, But not after 30 days.

If it is a under consideration stamp if is possible to get re-entry permit up to the date on the stamp.

Isn't that information available by looking at the photocopies of the bank book? How do you "note" bank balances over a 90 day period other than to copy the record from the passbook or show the balance daily, weekly, monthly for three months.

Forex deposits for the preceding 3 months of course is standard, but a running notation of the balance sounds strange.

PS Merry Christmas

PS Well if we're vying to get in salutations weeks or months in advance of the event, then Happy St. Walpurgis Night to you too.

@ Joe - The stamp IS an under consideration stamp. That script was a little blurred. Interestingly the Officer told me I had to come back BEFORE she even looked at any papers so it seems likely a routine cross check (Gulp, I hope).

@ Suradit.

- On a normal passbook Yes - but the head Immi guy asked for it and even gave me a copy of somebody elses letter to take to the bank. I actually had a deposit account which of course has 2 balances the start balance and the end with interest balance. The bank manager put August as the start balance, Sept (the end date ) and Nov as the final balance.

You mean Walpurgisnacht on Apr 30. Did not know that even after 12 years living in Deutschland.

Danke.
