there is no high speed internet in thailand.

i am in darkside not far from you - yeah BTV is bad, we have it here as well as another one which I forget... these are communal, and soooo bad that I ordered True private line 799 a month with all the Thai TV channels i'll ever need.... and 199 minutes of mobile calls a month... they also keep on teasing me with SMSs saying that I can get 1GB of free data if I sign up to direct debit using a credit card which I dont have (SCB or CIti bank and others)

anyway, back to your question, the SpeedTest website says I have 50M dl and 5m upload!!! wahheyyyy!!! but actually they are lying and if I use a proper speed test, its more like 1.4m dl and i forget the upload.... but, it is all 10x better than using the shared internet here, I can watch youtube with no buffering and make skype calls with not many problems.
