visa for spose of non-b multiple entry from consulate

I have a non-B 1 year multiple entry visa obtained from Penang.

Can my spouse (also not Thai) get a visa to stay with me in Thailand, based on my visa?

Or I must have a non-b extended at Bangkok immigration?

You wife would not be able to get a multiple entry non-o visa and any nearby location as your dependent.

She could get a dependent extension if you got a one year extension of stay. She would first need to get a single entry non-o to apply for it.
