Last year my wife got a year extension on her non-O visa based on her being a caretaker for our child who is studying in Thailand. One of the requirement at that time was 800,000 bth in a bank account.

Her extension runs out next month so we will apply again.

My question is how much is needed in the bank if you are applying a second time? I recall seeing on the application form the amount of 800,000 for the first time and a lesser amount for subsequent applicantions but I could not recall what that amount was (250,000 sticks in my mind). Also, the woman who took the form was explaining that the requirement form was out of date but I did not understand completely).

I guess this is directed at Sunbelt folks as I know they have done this before. Could Sunbelt also handle the process on this?
