I have already used the first entry and need to leave the country to activate the 2nd 60 day stay. Can i do this if I cross an overland border, or do I have to fly into Thailand to activate this? FiestyFarang Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 Normally you have to use the Visa by the expiry date not first entry date therefore it depends on how long you had the visa before using the first 60 days, therefore the Visa was live from the date is was issued, not when you first entered Thailand. This can be done at the nearest Immigration @ THB 1,900 Take care that you use the 2nd entry before your visa expires. I've had them slip up and blindly stamp me a 15-day visa-exempt. In one case, I caught it before leaving. In another I didn't and it required another visa run to set straight!
