Non-B visa and work permit requirements for language school teachers (Non English)

Hi everyone,

I am willing to work as a French teacher (I am native) in a private language school licensed with the MOE and I want to make sure of the process to obtain a work permit, since information that I have been reading so far on the subject are not all matching, and immigration regulations have been changing a lot recently. Can somebody help me figure out what is needed?

It is obvious that I will need a Non-B visa, but what are the requirements for it in this particular situation?

I have a university degree, but not a teaching license. I read sometimes that it is necessary to obtain the work permit but I also read that if it is to work as a teacher in a private language school, it is not necessary. Which one is correct?

What documents will the school and I need to provide in order to process for a Work Permit? Is the Criminal Record Background required?

Is it also correct that language schools do not need to comply with the 4 Thai employees to 1 foreigner ratio in order to hire a foreign language teacher? 2 million baht capital not mandatory neither?

Do these rules apply for any language (included French) or only for EFL teachers?

Can you confirm that there is no minimum salary.

Thanks in advance for your help
