Does a new passport, make it more easier to get a tourist visa in asia?

Recommended Posts

It depends on if the embassy has access to the database (I know they don't have access to the blacklist - or have not before). I would assume that it might be easier if you are in your home country since it would be normal. If it is not your home country, they might get suspicious and do more due diligence on their part.

It will not help with immigration because the previous passport entries will be shown in their database.

For tourist visa applications it does help because they do not have a database of previous visas in another passport and do not have access to immigration's.
