December 12, 201411 yr Where's Stephen Hawking when you need him? Apparently he maybe coming to Thailand,.. good,.... I need to go back in time, I missed Terry Reid first time around, knew the name and that he could have been in Led Zep, but I never knew his music. What a talent.
December 13, 201411 yr That song is barred in the car, heading down or up the highway, its always the same, before I know it the car is doing 160 kph. Always had a soft spot for this, Woke last night to the sound of thunder.

December 13, 201411 yr rgs...I go to saudi to work and clean up and stay away from the booze...if I didn't I'd probably be dead by now... nobody has forgotten 'Can't find my way home' it is a true classic...I even heard it on an elevator (lift) muzak once... Steve Winwood is a musical R&B genius and that Blind Faith number serves to illustrate the range of his talent...when first heard 'Gimme some lovin' in 1966 I couldn't believe that it was a teenaged white boy at the hammond organ...

December 15, 201411 yr 555, little did I realize all those years ago that this album cover would come alive as it were, on our farm Jingjoks, lizards, between the electrical sockets and walls, getting behind neon lights, geckos announcing the time in their own inimitable way.. and what a great song from Ian Hunter.
December 16, 201411 yr 555, little did I realize all those years ago that this album cover would come alive as it were, on our farm Jingjoks, lizards, between the electrical sockets and walls, getting behind neon lights, geckos announcing the time in their own inimitable way.. and what a great song from Ian Hunter. I always enjoyed the art of M.C. Esher - his art is on the cover of that great album. And Ian Hunter and Mott the Hoople were solid as well. http://www.mcescher.com Edited December 16, 201411 yr by SpokaneAl

December 16, 201411 yr yeah...I saw Moby Grape at a venue in Hollywood, musta been about 1970 and the place looked like a disused cinema...there was a haze of weed and they were jamming (there were no orchestras), we came in late in their set...it was memorable... a good post as it evoked the memory...
