I'm sure the rapist is ready to apologize, has confessed to the crime so he can get the sentence reduced by half, saying he needs psychiatric help, was abused as child, the woman really invited him over, it was consensual, he was high on medicine, and lord knows what else. These kind of people are truly scum of the earth.

the police and other influential authorities can just say, the victim was too "attractive" aka (her fault dressing so XXXXciting)

OR

He could have swilled a few beers and begged forgiveness so he could get off understandably for being drunk.
