I am usually a stand up guy and i noticed my water meter the last few months does not seem to be registering, moving or changing .

Since i am the one checking reporting and paying, i think soon is the time to tell the landlord.

(I pay 30 baht a unit, what is the govt rate in pattaya?)

The water bill is not so high.

However, a little light flashed in my head, since i am being 'fleeced' on my electric (i guess many here are,) are there ways to slow down or reverse the electric meter to at least get a fair market price for my electric consumption? I pay about twice the govt rate, (for what? i ask myself while the upkeep and service gets worse and worse and i pay a higher rent that the thais.)

I am not sure if this is allowed here (why not? just discussion) but it would put us at a more fair advantage considering how scrupulous landlords can be.

I do not think i have the heart to do this (golden rule) but i wonder, can it be done and how?

Knowledge IS power?

Next stop google perhaps.

Thanks.
