Recommend a good Accountant?

Can anyone recommend a good accountant?

I have a business on Koh Chang and am looking for an accountant to cover -tax, business returns, VAT, work permits etc.

They must obviously be trustworthy & competent but also speak English.

I am prepared to travel as far as Pattaya if necessary but not Bangkok.

Get one that has passed the tax exams rather than one who pays somebody else who has passed the tax exams to sign off the unqualified accountant's work.

There must be some kind of foreign business association on Koh Chang, weather formal or informal. Local business people will probably have the best handle on who actually knows what they are doing.

No business association here & my current A/c I`ve discovered is more akin to `Del Boy`. Other local A/cs` come with an equally poor reputation and no English. Surely there must be a competent, honest English speaking Accountant out there? :-)
