phetphet
I wasn't sure whether to put this in Banking or Computer/Tech forum, so Mods please feel free to move if wrong. LINE, the online and smartphone chat, messaging and call application, today introduced LINE Pay. It gives the possibility to enter credit cards details into the app, and use it to make e-commerce purchases. It might be a handy option for some members as LINE is very popular here in Asia. dddave
I'd wait a while before trying it...bound to be bugs and vulnerabilities; give it a year and see how it goes. Opening another electronic route into my wallet makes me queezy.

CaptHaddock
I looked at the Line Pay site, but couldn't find any info on how a merchant opens an account, nor what the merchant fees are. Anyone know?
phetphet
Did you go to the LINE help page? http://help.line.me/line/android/categoryId/10001102/ Bottom paragraph "Other Problems". It says To implement LINE Pay as a payment method, please see the LINE merchants website, and provides a link, but the link seems to just go to the normal page. It seems as if LINE Mall and LINE store are the only ones accepting LINE Pay at the moment, with more rolling out soon.
