from email to iPhone app

Featured Replies

Why is there not an option to open links in the daily email to open the link in the TV app on the iPhone ?

If i have missed some option box or something, i apologise and would be grateful of some guidance.

This has (IMHO) nothing to do with the TV App or can they change that behavior.

The only way for your Email app to open links is either inline (which means in the Email App itself) or in Safari (or another browser) in your iPhone.

Good Luck

It's semi related to the app ..

I dug a little deeper, the TV app is a custom tapatalk build, and its a feature many other unrelated forum users are looking for. Android would ask you which app you wanted to open a link in.

We know iOS doesn't work like this, and the tapatalk framework doesn't pickup commands from email links.

I thought the answer may be as simple as requesting a specific iOS daily email from TV which contained the required command hyperlinks ( in account settings ) - apparently not possible at the moment.
