Need advise please

I am australian and currently in udon Thani on a 30 day visa exempt visa.

I wish to get a 90 day visa before the 9/1/15

Can I apply in udon or go to Laos ??

You will not get any visa in Udon. You could apply for a 30 day extension of your visa exempt entry.

What type of 90 day visa do you want. A non-o, non-b and etc. And upon what basis.

Or do you want to get a tourist visa that gives a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days.

I would probably go for the 60 day visa

I just need to stay here bit longer before I start work again in aust

You can get a single or 2 entry tourist visa at the embassy in Vientiane without a problem.

You could start out with the 30 day extension at immigration in Udon for a fee of 1900 baht.
