it was recommended to get a updated kor ror 2 for extension at immigration for 20 baht.

Can me and my wife go to any Amphor here in Bkk to get one? And what should we bring when we ask for one?

Your wife can get it by just showing her ID card and asking for it at any Amphoe. It should only take a few minutes for them to print it out, sign and stamp it.

Should we ask for 2 since immigration at Changwatana asks for 2 of everything for extension based on marriage?

CW from every report I have read only ask for one TM7 form with attached documents (all others want 2).

A signed copy of the original would be accepted.

I got a letter from the amphor instead of the Kor ror 2.

The letter is signed and stamped stating our information on our marriage.

Is this what I need?

It may be a Kor Ror 2 it is nothing fancy just a printed form with blocks that have info in the them.

Our original has the kor ror 2 on the top corner and is front and back with info about the registration of the marriage.

This is one sided with 3 sections

Our name and birthday with her Id#

Next section is wedding info

And then I believe is a memo stating we are married and nothing is changed. (That's how my wife explained)

Then stamped and signed.

That sounds like the same thing my wife has been getting when we go for my extensions. I would have to look for a copy to know for sure. We did not get one when we got married.

Thanks I was just asking if this sounds the same.

The lady at the camphor told this is what they give because they can't or won't print the original only give a letter stating our info and we are still married and nothing has changed.
