yeah these so called quality tourists can go get funked ...we want real tourists that go around on coach tours etc like the $30 a day china people

do they realy spend that much, i see now why tat wants the chinese here

There is big money in Numbers. Bring them in by the 100's and the baht dropping may exceed the few VIPs. I always thought landing fees made up for space and time short comings at airports. Like a fine for coming.

When I first came here, it was all pretty predictable. Nights out, bars, always somewhere busy. That was the routine. These days it’s different. Quieter, less going out. I still drop in now and then, but it’s not the center of things anymore. The scene itself feels different too.Fewer girls around, or just moved online? How can you tell if someone is old and uneducated in this forum? Unless of course they've said they're old and they constantly say things that would have you make that assumption, like always assuming things about others for one. Going up to strangers in bathrooms and asking them personal questions could also be looked at as someone with little common sense, which is a form of intelligence. I'm guessing you might have some other's here personal information on that clipboard, so I was just wondering.

The immigration should have a own app for TDAC, so that you don't need to surf on the internet. I had the same experience. I filled in everything and than suddenly I had to pay, but I knew it was free. So I cancelled it and had to search for the Thai immigration website. It cost a lot of time just for something simple to solve.
