As we all seem to agree, the problem in Thailand is not the amount of laws, it is the lack of enforcement by the tomato police.

As it seems a lot of people in authority are amongst the biggest offenders, I don't expect any of them to let changes go through which might lead to their own conviction.

Lai Lai......If the first lai is spoken in a flat tone and the the second lai with a raised tone ( not rising but raised compared to the first lai ) it means keep on stroking. The kob jai is just an informal thank you

In Thailand laws are not enforced. What is the point of having more laws on the statute books which are not to be enforced? How about reforming the police and turning this failed institution state into an effective law enforcement agency instead of the parasitic infection that it currently is, collecting tea money off the Thai people?

There, fixed that for you. If you truly believe the ONLY problem with this country is it's police force, you seriously need to educate yourself. It's everyone, everywhere.

So like with the "inheritance and land tax" we have again a military led government about to set in law the criminalisation of "Torture and Abduction".

Interesting that democratically elected governments in Thailand never seem to find the time to get around tackling these matters. wink.png
