Herb products owner call for kind-hearted people to adopt his 100 deer

KANCHANABURI: -- An owner of herb garden and herb products in Kanchana Buri Sunday called on kind-hearted people to adopt his 100 deer, saying he may have to sell his land where the animals are being raised.

Chairat Nonthachai said he had bought one male deer and four female ones 10 years ago to prevent them from being butchered and their number grew to be 100. He said his herbs did not sell well so he might not be able to keep his land.

He said if government agencies wanted to take the deer to release them into the wilderness, he would be willing to give them away.

They will eat them. wai2.gifwai.gif

Who is they ?

Yes release them in some of the more remote national parks and wildlife sanctuaries well away from the people they have got used to.

Although then the "They" will probably be the tigers, leopards and other predators that live there. But then that is the way of nature not human nature which would see these things as pets.

The Burmese eat them don't they?....well according to my wife who has never forgiven them for those LONG AGO attacks on Siam.

Although she goes a bit quiet, when I remind her that the Burmese brought "enlightenment" to Siam.

FYI TIgers and Leapards are extinct in Thailand and there are few other predators in the wild unless you categorize elephants as one . Yes Yes

The elephants can TRUNK them to death
