PATTAYA: -- Pattaya, along with the rest of Thailand, celebrated National Children’s Day on Saturday, an annual event held on the second Saturday of January and known in Thai as “Wan Dek”.

On this day Children can enter zoos and other attractions for free and in Bangkok they can ride buses for free. Many events, too numerous to report on individually, took place around Pattaya on Saturday and it was a day packed with fun for not only the children, but for the rest of their family.

Pattaya Park allowed free entry for children to their Water Park, and as expected it was full to capacity. The Tourist Police were asked to provide additional security to ensure the safety of all who attended the park and no problems were reported there the entire day.
