Border crossings for visa purposes

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there is a publication listing all the border crossings for doing visa runs etc.

Not that I know of.

For Laos they are here: http://www.laos-guide-999.com/Laos-border.html

For Cambodia the e-visa website shows them: https://www.evisa.gov.kh

Myanmar there is Mae Sai in Chiang Mai, Mae Sot in Tak, Ban Nam Ron in Knachanburi and Ranong.

There are several crossing to Malaysia. Sadao and Pedang Beser are the biggest.

If was closed to foreigners unless they had a Myanmar visa for a few months because Myanmar stopped doing border passes there. They are doing border passes now.

In a few months a new crossing will open to all nationalities between Thailand and Myanmar: Dan Singkorn in Prachuab Khiri Khan province. Just heard it on the news last night. Timing is uncertain, but expect it to be open sometime later this year.
