Where can I get a printed version of the Pattaya map?

I know I will be able to get one at the TAT office, but the problem is that I'm in Pattaya after 4pm tomorrow, and I guess the office is closed by that time.

Any other places where to get it?

1468 Posts, so I assume you know how to use that interweb thing, now all you have to do is buy a printer, or even a flash drive and print for 1 Baht at an internet shop.

DUH.....

And for 1 baht they gonna print me a map in color on gloss paper in A0 size ?

I'm looking forward to you pointing me in the right direction.

AO 33inch x 46 inch, or 84 cm x118cm if you prefer, hardly pocket size is it.

But just to point you in the correct direction if you proceed up Pattaya Tai, from 2nd road towards 3rd road, about 60 mtr up from Tuk.com on the opposite side is a printer that will do the job for you. They can print up to 2mtr x 5mtr.

I refuse to enter into a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

I think the below should have given you a clue

I know I will be able to get one at the TAT office

They are free because they are sponsored, and they are big size because they are folded to fit in your pocket. A map of Pattaya in real pocket size is unusable.

I assume that the sponsors of the map will also have them available, but since I don't have such a map yet, I also don't know who the sponsors are.

I should keep your eyes peeled if anywhere on the tourist beat. There are plenty of tourist booths and shops with free maps and maps can be found in or outside supermarkets too. Good hunting.

There used to be lots of free maps paid for by sponsors...

Large maps folded to pocket size, I assume they are still available, try any hotel reception, etc.

The free magazines that get handed out have a nice foldout map. I get mine at Foodland, on the counter next to the bakery.

Thanks for the precise direction, will visit Foodland for my map.

The problem with these things is that if you're not an actual tourist, you don't look out for them.
