watcharacters
The links I use to have on devices for youtube posting are no longer there. Maybe a result of the google/Apple disputes. I have a friend who recently told me it took 25 minutes for him to post a 17 second video.. I know when I tried to post a 1:47 minute video, recently the time showed it was going to take over three and a half hours. I use an 4S phone and would like to post a couple of things. I must be doing something wrong. Your suggestions, please?

cheeryble
I have the smallest 16gb iPad mini. If i take a video I upload to Youtube then delete from mini to save storage. So I upload quite often. For a typical video of a couple or three minutes it uploads quickly a matter of minutes and could not be easier to do with on screen instructions from the iPad. I presume you're using the icon in the corner of the screen a little square with an arrow upwards.....then choosing Youtube (can also do Mail etc etc)? taninthai
Go-to file top left corner while video is open and choose export you can then export it to your desktop at lower resolution think it's 480p,then upload it from the new saved version on desk top ....this is for macbooks Edited January 27, 2015 by taninthai
Lorithai
That timeframe sounds insane for uploading from a phone. Are you using an ap? I wonder if you'd have better luck from a desktop.
Gulfsailor
Install the youtube capture app to upload directly to your youtube account. You can also improve the video a bit with stabilization and other options before upload.
