January 19, 201511 yr I have a multi O visa, but return to the UK on 4th Feb my 90days is up on 2nd of Feb so I will be 22 days over. I am returning in April and applying for retirement visa, what is the best way for me to achieve this as some say go on a visa run, overstay at airport, or do I just get extension at immigration ????
January 19, 201511 yr You can apply for a 7 day extension, pay the 1900 baht fee and be given 7 days to leave. Or pay the 1000 baht overstay fine on departure taking the chance of being the caught with the overstay before getting to the airport. If you can meet the financial requirements to apply for an extension of stay (it not a visa) based upon retirement you could do it now and get a re-entry permit (1000 baht) for your trip to the UK. When does your visa expire?
January 19, 201511 yr Author Visa expires on 9th May, so ok for return.so thinking better to pay and get 7day extension. I am in pattaya so I can go before visa expires as I only need 2days . Thanks for the info . Better to be safe than sorry.
