Unknown Pellets on my Sala, I now know but do you?

Featured Replies

Anyone else have this happen? Been finding these "dried pellets" on my sala every morning for months. Finally last night I discovered where they come from and took even got several pictures of it.

So the question to you is, "do you know what they are and where they come from?"

Looks like pigeon crap to me. Comes down off the roof when it rains.

It is crap but not pigeon crap and the sala is completely covered with a large over hang too. Pellets look powdery dry dog food and can be swept off easily.

Keep guessing....

Tokay?

Nope that's what I thought too when I first saw it. I don't think anyone will guess the answer. Not a pigeon, not a Tokay Gecko.

A hint it's a "mammal".

Mice droppings!

Batshit ??

We have a winner!

Batshit...guano from "Short Nose Fruit Bat". Had me stumped for months until I caught him at night hanging from the outside light.
