Chippers/mulchers For Sale In Isaan?

Featured Replies

Anyone know if they have for sale in Isaan (Khon Kaen or Udon Thani) a gas powered chipper for mulching small branches, large plants, grasses, possibly coconut husks and smaller peices of old bamboo? ( mainly for adding to a compost pile). Nothing too heavy duty is needed.

If so, could you give me a ballpark figure in cost?

Many thanks for any input recieved.

Seems like I've seen small scale chippers for sale in various small hardware stores...you might just start checking out some of the small places and you might find one. On the other hand, around here my wifes' mother uses the small branches as cooking fuel and the other stuff I just pile up and it decomposes by itself in a year of so...you can split the bamboo very easily so it will decompose faster.....I guess if you have limited space then you want stuff to decompose faster though. For small amounts I have heard of some people using a rotary lawn mower....they just put a small pile on the ground and go over it.

Global Home (Centre)

......have branches in Udon/T & KK and most major provincial towns

I think you can buy them with/without the usual 5hp Honda gas engine (meaning petrol)
