I know this question has been asked before. I need to move funds from Thailand to my home bank account by means of a Swift transfer . Do you transfer in Baths or convert to Euros before sending ? Thanks for the help .

Get the bank to convert it here - you will get a better rate than from your home country.

Note that the Thai bank will ask you reason for transfer (support wife/child over there, buy things, pay off loan, whatever sounds good). There is a limit of US$50k for the relatively simple transfer but it gets sticky for larger sums.

Thanks for information. It's not a large Sum 200k but it's a family member transferring the money for me.
