Wooden Furniture in Mahasarakham

Featured Replies

Am slowly furnishing my new house in Mahasarakham, the biggest trick is keeping my wife from buying the particle-board crap that is most prevalent around town.

Does anybody know of a place that sells/makes proper solid wood furniture, such as Dressers / Armoires?

keep right away from those partical board cabinets they like to sell in thailand , it lasts about 6 months and then falls apart also one drop of water near it and it's history ...

You get what you pay for.

from the clock tower continue past main hospital past Toyota etc and on your left about where town fizzles out is a furniture shop .lots of rubbish but take the time to look through and you can find good wood and some old Thai styles.

I have bought some nice wooden furniture in that shop. But they are a little bit expensive.

further away and in a different budget league ,home pro complex khon kaen next to restaurant is a place with brass inlay hardwood.expect 500000 to furnish living room.i prefer that to the elite card .lasts more than few years and can burn if desperate ! (cold)

Thanks to all for the advice. Will take a look in a couple of weeks when I am back in town.
