All of it in my opinion
You have to enlighten me cos what she said is simply bang on teh money isn't it, all of it ??

So is that your opinion or do you know for a fact, perhaps privy to a conversation beween Levy, Becks, LA Galaxy and AEG

Honestly, why on Earth would this be seen as anythign else even in a Y*d's eye ??

What are you talking about, i think your losing the plot :(

Explain to us your conspiracy theory, have you ever thought of getting a job in the CIA :D

Mrs Brady's words "they may feel" so she is obviously not even sure herself.

I am soooo sick of this loan deal <deleted> and Beckham. I hope it isn't detracting from the search for a striker. Just seems that every affliated Tottenham website i read never seems to mention Cavani, Suarez, Llorente Benzema etc....just David <deleted> Beckham!!!!:realangry: Surely the chairman and manager understand that the whole Beckham thing and his media circus are an irrelevence to the importance of a world class striker.

You won't be able to do that because she didn't say it Alf..

Right, lets make it simple for ya singher, this is what she said :

CALL me cynical but I smell a rat in the 'Beckham for Spurs' reports.

They may feel he could help their rival bid to ours for the Olympic Stadium.

The link is this: LA Galaxy is owned by Philip Anschutz - whose company AEG is Tottenham's partner in their stadium bid.

I admire Beckham as a football champion and I'd hate to see him being used as puppet for AEG.

So what do you think is her conspiracy theory behind what she said ;) no waffling now :D

Ok then, here we go, English lesson 1 for Y*ds...

She said, via you " They may feel he could help their rival bid to ours for the Olympic Stadium. " agreed ??

Let's look at the word " may " & we'll get a definition for it so there's no way you can not understand.

(used to express contingency, esp. in clauses indicating condition, concession, purpose, result, etc.): I may be wrong but I think you would be wise to go. Times may change but human nature stays the same.

" Something may or may not happen. "

" You may grow hair again one, day, but there probablity is you won't "

Comprende ??

=======

But you then said after reading that " Yeah absurd, that is until someone can explain to me how on earth Spurs wanting to sign Becks means he will put a good word in with the powers to be, comical :D "

Let's now look at the word " means " that you wrote & get a difinition for it so a sthere is no way can not still possibly understand.

The word " means " means the following :

" to have in mind as one's purpose or intention; intend: I meant to compliment you on your work. "

Which means Brady couldn't have meant anything, as she just said it may. " They may well feel............."

======

Kin hell, never get the truth get in the way of thinsg Alf will you..

So after all that are you going to answer my post #3072

Well, after all that, i appreciate your acknowleging my Lesson...;)

& to answer what i didn't see before, sorry, of course i will, i'll answer anything truly Alf..:)

But my answer is, i don't know, i dont' really care a great deal either to be honest.

Not sure a conspiricy was ever mentioned but " they may feel that he could help rival our bid ", for sure..

Neither of us nor anyone on here can confirm one way or the other anyway..;)

& anyway, anyone who thinks he " may " not be in T*ttingham's thinnking beehind it, would be a bit naive anyway wouldn't they, surely, because the links are most certainly there & undeniable ??

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1337858/Nick-Harris-David-Beckham-eyes-Olympic-glory-home-run.html

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/09/03/beckham-complete-pro-over-olympics-115875-22533052/

& of course Alf, to even insinutae that maybe, just maybe having the Olympic's host Country's Captain of the most popular Sport in the World signing for a Club who are bidding to take over the Stadium when the Game's are finished, would be utterly foolish wouldn't it, silly Cow ??

benzema played for OLYMPIQUE,lyon,

sure that vwill also come in very handy

Amusing though this saga is imola the truth is none of us want this deal at all. I hope the lesser of two evils prevail and you lot get the stadium.

Truth is with better forward planning the stadium could have been better converted easily to a football ground with a proper nod to its summer athletics potential. Its an opportunity missed really and a reflection of the short sightedness prevailing in the UK nowadays sadly.

Smokie, they know we hate the idea of it already, but they have nothing else to talk about. ;) It won't happen just for the constant concerns of large scale violence between the two sets of supporters. :whistling: They are a <deleted> football team coached by a Baron Von Greenback impersonator owned by an odious pair of wideboys who are big in the porn industry.

the only reason i would go to the east end now would be for a curry at the Lahore Kebab House. :D

2 bob

I hope Singhy doesn't see this Imola, otherwise it will be another conspiracy theory of why we were after Benzema, taking up 14 post's and getting nowhere.

Oh God, i hope not..... Singher is better off sticking with the scousers thread and giving them advice on slugging out a relegation battle. :)
