Love your lot, couple of wins and ....

"Bale believes this is the best team Tottenham have had since he moved to north London from Southampton in 2007. Indeed, he is convinced that Spurs are close to having a group of players strong enough to deliver the Premier League title, if only they can retain the most important elements of their current squad"

Seems its not just Arry then that belives you will win the league. Maybe Bale is confusing himself with winning the league in Spain, you know with the club he will be joining next summer...

Great post Santi, you cheered me up after just getting out of bed watching that <deleted> last night.Happy to see somebody else thinks about the master-plan!! biggrin.gif

We forgot you main focus is winning the league HAHA

Don't be childish dev. :)

Incidentally mate i've been considering this for a while and now i'm quite sure. My old uncle Charlie who's just knocking 74 is i am quite confident quicker on the turn than Carragher and without doubt has a better turn of pace than Adam who i presume has the dressing room nickname of :the Bullet" ;) Is the Liverpool defensive line going to be in the six yard box by the end of the season?

No way, they have the greatest defensive midfielder in the WORLD now.biggrin.gif

Let's hope Ancelotti isn't so desperate to stay in the UK (his advertorials suggest he is pretty keen) that he pitches his cap at Sunderland. I'll bet Levy has had a word already!

Ias long as he keeps on bossing the midfield like he did against Manu Chelsea and City , then that will be enough ;)

May be able to do it against those but i'de lay odds that any of your midfield trio's would come out second best against bale modric and parker. Shame we may never know. oh barring this seasons result at white hart lane, remind me again what was the score?

We might or we might not. It hardly matters as we'll be comfortably in the top four....which is what really counts.

Where will your lot be in all of this? Fighting it out for the fifth spot (as usual). biggrin.gif

Well yes but at least we dont make Carragher suffer the indignity of playing a highline. It is vaguely embarrassing watch John Terry do the same. Probably a bit like Uncle Charlie getting dressed up in tight and ripped jeans, putting on a tank top and hitting the local disco.

As a factual fact the team with the fewest number of goals conceded has won the League just as often as the team that has scored the most goals over the past 10 years.

Nah let me tell u whats been really embarrassing for u and for him, is that until recently u've HAD to play him at right back!!!

Drogba could be Spurs target

http://www.football365.com/news/21554/7347683/Drogba-could-be-Spurs-target

Harry says....

"Drogba is a top player, a fantastic player, so, who knows? I couldn't sit here and say we wouldn't be interested," he said.

"Anyone would be interested in having Didier Drogba in their team but we have not made any enquiries."

So what I want to know is whether Harry actually talks yo the press everyday or do journalists just make up Harry stories and quotes?

Is that a fact, or a matter of fact, in fact, just blow the f*cking doors off, I'm 'cockney', I'd never manage no norvern clubs!

Spurs do not want every 'second-hand' 'super' player from any club or anywhere, or at any price! Drogba has had his day (few years) and now is over it! Straight swap Defoe and Drogba - fair enough!

"your a big man but your out of shape, with me it's a full time job" biggrin.gif

I keep getting 'shot down' for over quoting!

So Abrak & Mr Red - you're Welcome on the most optimistic - 3rd with a game in hand thread!

I can't believe that Crystal Palace beat ManU away!

Defoe and £5m for Sturridge. ;)

Let's just soldier on, as we did in the times before Colour television!

Actually you're cute!angry.gif

Whats happened to this thread

Team news is good with Van Der Vaart back. Sandro doubtful though.

I know we really need to find a striker especially for next year but hopefully the Drogba talk is rubbish. The only striker from the chavs i'd want is Sturridge or Torres priced at 15m. Maybe we could take a punt at him getting back to being a half decent striker.

If only we could tempt Andy Carroll. He's class. :ermm::o:lol:

Now that I would go for.

So would i. Don't think Villas-Boas would though.
