I'm aware that there are mini bus tours but all I keep reading online are bad reviews about them. could someone enlighten me on the best choice for an overland journey from either bangkok or Pattaya to Siem reap? craigt3365 Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Easier to get to from Bangkok than Pattaya. The best way from Pattaya is a minivan. As mentioned above, definitely get your visa before you go. When you cross the border, there are also many scams for transport. If you plan in advance, air fare can be quite reasonable.
