This people is a developing country and as such is playing catch up with the already developed world. There is huge talent out there in the youth of Thailand. Globally, Switzerland, Singapore and Luxembourg lead the rankings. All with liberalised open financial services sectors attracting thousands of highly paid (maybe not highly competent) financial people. These are areas that are recognized as needing improvements by everyone...except the proud Thais...who do not take constructive criticism very well...
