Thai made craft beers

Featured Replies

Been looking round the web noticed the artisan craft beer movement is taking off here. There is a video on U tube

under the title Thailands craft beer outlaws.

Any sign of any here yet?

Whilst illegal to brew unless you have a license and a restaurant, the fine for brewing is only 200b whilst selling off the premises can get you 6 months and or 5000b fine.

Craft beer has taken off all round the world in the last 10 - 20 years and there is a growing movement in Thailand to get the laws updated to take this into account. Sounds like they need CAMRA here !

Yeah, but look how it ended for Frank Gallagher! (Showtime's "Shameless")

Lucky I am in OZ now I can brew as much beer as I like tongue.png

3) You will not post about activities or links to websites containing such material that are illegal in Thailand. This includes but is not limited to: gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing, file sharing of pirated material, pyramid schemes, etc. Discussion of the above is permitted only as news items, but never as a "how to" topic.
