2 weeks to go now ..

Any photo's that are submitted with the application that go towards showing the relationship is genuine, will I get them back?

If I don't will colour copies of the photo's be sufficient.

I really can't remember, but I do recall getting a whole load of copied documentation back at one time,with a quizical look regarding the actual amount of paperwork there was over a period of time and varying applications.

My limited knowledge would tell me that proper colour copies would be adequate, but wait for the more informed to come back on...

Any photos you submit should be returned. If they are not, then contact the embassy and ask that they be sent to you.

Mind you that was almost 4 years ago don,t know what it is like now
