adv008
Hi. Just wondering if anyone had got the yellow Tabien baan book in Chiang Rai. I would like to know how they found the process as it seems to vary so much depending on where you go. Thanks.
IraqRon
Just got one for my daughter , with wife also listed on the yellow book, so she could enroll in a local CR school next term. Was done at the CR municipality building. The process wasn't too long except our wait for the owner of the room/apt we rent to show back up at the office after she wandered off during the process. Believe she was resisting the process!! Anyway , check with them to see what docs you need.
krobert6
Hoping to get mine next week, a nightmare of a process and I have a built house here (or my wife does ). The last thing I am waiting for is the letter from immigration stating I am a long term resident here.
ripstanley
I applied for mine the same time we were married. My wife telephoned the Aumphur before we went. They informed her what was required. I needed 2 witnesses from the village. One was the village boss and one my now MIL. The whole process took including marriage took about 3 hours. Book was issued the same day. This was in Phayao
