Koh Phangan

Where from? Samui or the mainland?

Mainland only, Don Sak has two piers, the Raja Ferry and the SeaTrans. Both of which run direct now. But, be aware that the boats run about 4-5 times a day, not every hour like Samui, you must queue and you may have a long wait.

Koh Tao does not have a car ferry in case that was the next question

The car ferry used to stop at Samui before going onto Koh Phangan.

If they don’t do that anymore you would have to go Samui – Mainland – then pass right by Samui again to get to Koh Phangan?

Progress? :o

Beachcomber.

Thats right, to get to Samui from Phangan you must first go back to the mainland. I am hoping Seatrans will change their schedule yet again and have one trip to Samui a day.

Its too bad because I was really looking forward to a trip to HomePro with the truck, but I guess it will make my husband happier now :o
