Wouldn't work, Hamas ideology is to keep trying to destroy Israel, and maybe, just maybe the'll agree to some sort of putting their weapons aside, the hatred that fills they hearts will still be there for ever, the only solution that have been thrown around is a complete transfer of all Gazan away from the region, to a place/country that will be willing to take them and by that minimize the chances of direct conflicts.
