Lobsters recommended resteurant

Featured Replies

Hi, I never had lobsters, time to try, any recommended place, serving nice lobsters?

I would avoid walking street, and I know there lobster pot bad reviews, and sea food king.

Any others not overpriced?

Thx

I don't think you will get better than walking street.

All the Thai/Thai places do not sell lobsters and anyway the price is exactly the same everywhere when they do.

There are many places down walking street, and most have live on show so you know it is fresh, Nang Nual is not bad, and a lot of Thais eat there, you can pick a lobster and you pay by the weight.

If you're referring to Phuket lobsters, Sutangrak at the bottom of Jomtien Beach Rd does a good job, then there's Mum Aroi on the corner of 3rd and that little soi that goes to Hollywood/Big C Pattaya N - they also do a good job, then for all you can eat BBQ lobster there's the Saturday buffet at the Sheraton.

If you're referring to actual lobsters, Flare at the Hilton has fresh Canadian lobsters from time to time, they're not on the menu so you'll have to order them specifically, the Sheraton has frozen Maine lobsters on Saturdays in their buffet too.

Last visit to Mom Aroi Naklua I paid 300baht for 1kg of what they call lobster but in Oz they're called Morton bay bugs.

But equally as delicious and plenty of and good size tails.

Depending on the restaurant, also known as Rock Lobsters or Squat Lobsters.

The Haven in Soi 13 has lobster on the menu cooked several ways for about 400B. Not sure if it is half a real lobster or one rock lobster.

Cherries on 3rd Road does a lobster special for about 500B.

Don't get your hopes up too high. It's just a big prawn.

You are better off ordering "big prawns" than Lobster, if its a local variety.

Don't know about Pattaya but the definately have lobsters in Udon.
