Is it good to have a trip in this time???how is the weather in may???can i find good bargains in shopping center in this time???

I quite like May here, a bit quieter than usual, can be hot though.

As to bargains in shopping centres, don`t know, don`t think prices vary all that much in reality plus I hate shopping

I used to really enjoy the summer months because Pattaya became a comparative ghost town ... years ago. As you say, it is quieter then compared to the winter months, but still hectic.

Hotels would be charging low season rates then, but I've never noticed any genuine bargain prices then in the shops. You'll always see "promotions" and signs proclaiming "30% to 50% discounts," but they just inflate the ticket price 100% and then put the items on sale at 50% of that.

I agree. Hotels that are too expensive in high season, become affordable in low season.
