multplie non o marriage visa extension

Featured Replies

I am on a multiple entry non o marriage visa, the 90 days are up next wk, i am awaiting my original proof of income papers to come from UK next wk, i have scanned copies but i have to have them verified by the British Embassy so i believe that you need originals? Instead of going to Cambodia to get another 90 days, can i get an extension to my 90 days?

2nd question is that my original yellow tabian book is for the house that we now rent out and we live in another house, we cannot change the House book in the new house because you are only allowed one per household in that region and that is for the house that we rent out.

You can get a 60 day extension to visit you wife at immigration. Your wife will need to be with you when your apply.

I am not sure you need originals for the income letter. See: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-to-obtain-a-pensionincome-letter-for-thai-immigration They may have you do a statement instead of the income letter.since you are doing an extension of stay based upon marriage, You should contact the embassy to confirm what they will do.

You don't need your yellow book for the extension. If you wife's house book is for the one you are living in that is all you will need.

Thank you for your reply, do you know what forms i will need to fill out and what documents i will need to bring with me?

For the 60 day extension you will need a completed TM7 form with a 4cm X 6cm photo attached. Your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of of you wife's house book and ID card. If not living where your wife's house book is for you may also need proof of residence.

Download and then print form 2 sided. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm7.pdf.

Ok so armed with all the paperwork, approached the desk for a number they said no you have to leave Thailand. I told i need a 60 day extension they said oh ok you can have. In between that getting pushed, elbowed out of the way by fellow expats eager to get their business done before anybody else. Whilst then waiting at the correct desk, several Russians turned up dropped their passports off at the desk no paperwork approached& walked off. My paperwork was scrutinized down to the last letter with a microscope. How can Thai immigration treat the Russians as vips & treat everybody else like dirt like their up to something!
