Today I called Thai-Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and asked if they make Non O (Retirement) visa and they do NOT, only for people who have address in Malaysia. But i tell them then you must change the web page, because on Royal Thai Embassy,Kuala Lumpur web pages you can get a visa O (Retirement) 12 /Feb-2015 wai2.gif

It has been reported before that they will not do a non-o for being over 50 for retirement.

It is not all that unusual for embassy and consulate websites to have false info on them.

I do not recommend KL for any visa.

Penang or Vientiane is the best choice for the non-o visa.

Perhaps this is a terminology issue.

O-A visas (typically called retirement visas) should be on offer from KL to Malaysian nationals and perhaps other established residents there.

Single entry O visas (90 day stay) to later be used for annual retirement extensions in Thailand, I see was just answered by UJ.
