February 13, 201511 yr What is this? I got an SMS today: dtac will transfer your number to TriNet. Please 1. do not turn off your phone 2. wait for SMS confirmation 3.Restart your phone after "No Signal" What's it all about? Something to do with the new registration requirements?
February 13, 201511 yr No it means your phone will be able to use all freq that they use for the three networks they have i.e. trinet. This seems it should have happened long ago. How old is your sim card it might not work proper and get only 2g data like mine did when they made the change here. If so they will issue a new sim card for free. If it is just a voice sim it might not make a difference.
February 13, 201511 yr Author hmm.. Interesting. The number is 7 years old or so. But if I'm remembering correctly, I got a new SIM because the old one was thrashed, about 6 months back. 3G has always been working fine. Maybe it was only on 850? and now 850/2100? Regardless. Thanks for the answer, wasn't sure what it was about. Never heard of TriNet.
