jonwilly
Going back to my PC days I became a user of Google Chrome and have many websites in my Favourites which is why I have stayed with Chrome. I use Zenmate on Crome No Problems. My internet has been problematic of late and I have found that Safari Connects better, noticeably faster. I have tried to install Zenmate on Safari, so I can access a Banned UK newspaper and the BBC iPlayer. I have Crome installed in my Applications folder but when I try to install Zenmate to Safari it keeps telling me I need to download Chrome. I have done this and deleted my old Chrome with Force Quit then remove. Chrome is started again in safari but still keeps telling me to Download Chrome. I am getting on in years and did not learn 'Computer' in any Formal sense. Can anyone offer advice ? john
Somtamnication
Well, Safari does not the chrome engine, so zenmate doesn't install. As far as I know. I can only use zenmate with Chrome and Iron browser. For some reason, it won't install on maxthon and epic. Is there a zenmate for Safari?
Chicog
The reason Safari may seem faster is that Zenmate slows down browsing considerably.Turn it off unless you need it.
jonwilly
"The reason Safari may seem faster is that Zenmate slows down browsing considerably." True, but with Zenmate off, Safari, Apples own system, is still faster. My original question is still why can I not install Zenmate onto a Safari browser. Thanks. john
