Just out of curiousity, do most pharmacies carry them here?

I found that a double-shot espresso hops me up for a round of golf and the score difference is significant but I hate coffee and red bull has a paltry 50mg in one bottle/can.

Sorry, but caffeine content is highly regulated in the Kingdom. :o

As Bambina points out, even 100 mg of caffeine may not help much. In the States, a tablet of white No-Doz is 100 mg, and yellow Vivarin is 200 mg.

Sure enough, they were not available when I tried to get them in Thailand.

I would try a few bottles of that cold unsweetened green tea. That should hop you up. Caffeine pills are nasty; the experience is not same as you get in drinks and food, because the stimulant delivered naturally is more complex than pure caffeine.
