I've read the tips in the pinned section and I can attached images as Thumbnails.

But when I try to attached an image using the second method (as a link) I just get the error message "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community".

I'm using Flickr for hosting and I copy the HTML code for the relevant image size. I've also tried the BB Code, Embed Code and every other option in Flickr but I just get the same error message?

What am I doing wrong?

Use the BB code option on Flickr. Copy it in Flickr and paste it into your post. Don't use the "attach" option on this site; just paste the BB code from Flickr straight into your post. You can then click "Preview Post" to check that it has worked.

    Yes same with anyone having this problem with Google Plus.... it's very annoying!
