Former Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova will help promote Thai fruits abroad

The Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry has appointed former Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova as a special ambassador for the promotion of Thai fruits abroad.

The Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister, Khunying Sudarat Keyurapan (สุดารัตน์ เกยุราพันธ์), said the public relations campaign will start in France where the Thai fruit festival will be held in September before moving t0 17 other countries.

Khunying Sudarat said Ms. Glebova also will help promote te Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 to be opened in Chiang Mai late this year.

She said Ms. Glebova will charge the ministry nothing for the PR campaign which will last one year.

Ms. Glebova, meanwhile, said she felt honour for the appointment. She likes Thai fruits and is writing a book about some of them, including mangosteen.
