Thailand eyes 120 billion baht from food exports to EU annually

Tropical storm expected to arrive in Surin soon

Jarat Rattanarat, 64, admitted to killing 21-year- old Weerawat Tiangnoy.

PHUKET: -- A Phuket gardener was arrested early this morning (February 23) after he attacked two men with a machete who were trying to steal roosters from his garden. One of the men died and the other had to run for his life.

Army holds meeting of 17 northern provinces' governors

BANGKOK: -- Third Army Area Commander Lt Gen Sathit Pittharat held a meeting of governors from 17 northern provinces at the King Naresuan base in Phitsanulok at 1:30 pm Monday.


District chiefs and senior officials of provincial offices of the Interior Ministry, Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, Agriculture Ministry and Labour Ministry were also summoned to the meeting.

Last year’s household debts amount to 85% of GDP
